The National Rescue Program, The American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service (ABARS) is currently assisting with a desperate needs situation involving 25 Purebred Bullmastiffs in Nevada. The ABARS is very much in need of donations, transport volunteers and foster homes.

Beginning Friday, December 9th, 2011, a long and tiring plan was finally put into place to Rescue 20+ purebred Bullmastiffs from a Nevada breeder who had fallen on hard times. Beginning with 7 dogs at a time ranging from young puppies to older adults, they were transported by van load from their facility of filth and neglect and taken to foster care, veterinarians and volunteers. ABARS purchased food, crates, bedding, van rentals, gas cards and continues to take donations in preparation for the long road ahead for the care of these beautiful dogs.

On December 10th, 2011, Eight Bullmastiffs were the start of this enormous rescue (2 five month old puppies, a five year old male, 2 eighteen month old littermates and another eighteen month old from another litter, a three year old female and a five year old female). Seven more were picked up the following day totaling 15 purebred Bullmastiffs. All of these dogs are desperate for veterinary care as well as some needing advanced medical care.

Plans are in place for a second transport weekend with at least one more van load of seven more Bullmastiffs from this Nevada facility to be transported into foster care for rehabilitation leading up to potential adoption. A rescue of this magnitude is an ENORMOUS expense, every dollar counts. No amount is too small. PLEASE HELP THESE DOGS!

If you can help, or forward to anyone you know who is a fellow animal lover. No amount is too small. Please click on the link below to donate via ChipIn to the ABARS. Your donation is appreciated.

The American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service is extremely grateful to the support thru the generous donations by check and thru ChipIn and pray that the support for this Rescue will continue. Checks can be mailed at: ABARS, PO 300, Templeton, MA 01468 or donations can be received thru ChipIn at the link towards the bottom of this page.
